ACREA Pledge:
I pledge to be fair and honest in all of my dealings. I will treat all clients with dignity, respect, and will abide by the Fair Housing Act and not engage in discrimination in any form. I am a practicing Catholic. I will uphold and respect the tradition of home blessings and will participate in blessings if invited to do so.
Membership rules:
Marketing –Members may only use ACREA approved marketing materials and will not alter the content or messaging. Members are permitted to customize marketing pieces with their personal contact information and branding. Members are welcome to make suggestions and provide input for any revisions, but all revisions must be approved by the ACREA.
Crucifixes:
The ACREA will also provide blessed crucifixes at cost to members. No other crosses may be used. The association needs to make certain that crosses are properly blessed and of the same aesthetic value. The Church forbids the selling of previously blessed items at a profit. Due to labor shortages and the fact that these are crafted items, it may be necessary to find alternate suppliers. This must be done in coordination with the ACREA to ensure the Papal blessing is properly received.
Referral Fees:
The ACREA’s function as a referral network is to simply bring agents together to provide for the special needs of the Catholic homeowner. Referral fees are negotiated between agents on an ad hoc basis.
Dues
Membership for the Association of Catholic Real Estate Agents is $100 annually. Memberships will renew automatically upon the anniversary date of their initial membership. Starter kits including the first blessed crucifix and 50 pamphlets are available for $50.
